4) Why did you choose to join CVDFK? The opportunity arose to join a reputable local firm (was then Morley & Scott) offering career progression.
5) Describe a typical day as a office manager? Overseeing the marketing activity for the Business Recovery Unit. Organising events and managing all aspects of our marketing function.
6) What elements of your role do you enjoy most? I enjoy organising events and ensuring our guests enjoy a memorable event.
7) What is the most challenging part of your job? Organising nine Partners and four Directors!!!
8) Outside of work hours, what social activities are there? We have regular office nights out which give everyone the opportunity to relax and have some fun outside of the work environment.
9) What training and support did you receive whilst at CVDFK? I have undertaken a huge career path transformation with CV. I started as a Receptionist in 1998 and as the office/department grew, so did my role. It has evolved over the years and is now one of purely marketing for our department. The BRD Partners have been a massive support in what has, at times, been quite a challenging learning curve.
10) How would you describe your work/life balance at Chantrey Vellacott? A juggling act!
11) What do you feel sets CVDFK apart from other firms? It cares about its employees and puts their welfare high on their list of priorities.
